HUMAN WATT POWER Stationary Bike Grid Tie Inverter Solar Electric Bicycle SOLAR FITNESS CLUB

FITNESS CLUB BUSINESS IDEA. If a company made a bunch of plug n play bikes to a KW Meter, Users could compete, who produces more power over a week, month, year. Green Gym Solar Fitness Club off the Grid.

Future residential solar power systems. Solar job career opportunity.

This is a DC Permanent Magnet Motor used as a generator. The GRID TIE INVERTER is a SPECIAL INVERTER that can attach to your grid and back power your house reducing the electrons you get from the power company. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR INVERTER, do not rig a regular inverter to your grid our you can croak. Also this answerS THE QUESTION AGAIN ABOUT BLACK OUTS AND GRID TIE INVERTERS. They cannot back power during an outage, Electronics prevent this and need voltage detection to work.

EVEN if the unit were somehow altered, the load of all the appliances in your house and neighborhood would cause the inverter to overload, so it is not possible to power your neighborhood or even your house alone with a Grid Tie Inverter during a blackout.

UNLESS YOU ARE PRODUCING MORE POWER THAN YOUR HOUSE IS USING, THE GRID TIE INVERTER WILL NOT BACK POWER THE ELECTRICAL GRID. THE ELECTRONS PRODUCED FROM YOUR SOLAR PROJECT CONVERTED TO AC VIA THE GTI WILL BE USED BY APPLIANCES AND LIGHTING IN YOUR HOUSE FIRST.

    I Don’t know about …
I Don’t know about the US, but in Australia there are several gyms now doing exactly that. they run all (or most) of their excercise bikes through a generator and back into the grid and have a much reduced energy cost.

the bigger your gear, the more power you can create right?

big gear spinning small spindle= faster speed on the motor

    I believe that the …
I believe that the record for sustainable output is just over 1/4 horsepower. or about 186 watts continuous. short bursts can go much higher.

  • GREENPOWERSCIENCE:

    @muddymuddymuddmann …
@muddymuddymuddmann Been training, looking for 9 hp (LOL) kidding. I think 200 watts is possible with a better configuration and a higher voltage tolerance GTI or 2 gens in parallel.

    Wow you reached 1/ …
Wow you reached 1/7th of a horsepower. Not bad at all.

105 watts would power all of the light bulbs that I let run at once

    Awesome. One does …
Awesome. One does appreciate how much energy is packed into hydrocarbons, and therefore the difficulty of finding something to replace petrol – that is, continuing to live like pigs on some alternative energy source. Petrol is such a great source of energy, without it I don’t see how we’ll have any choice but to stop living high on the hog.

I wonder if you could charge up capacitors and then drain them off into space heaters. Or use a big fly wheel to create the wattage heating elements need..

    1: yeah every one …
1: yeah every one loves running in a nice heavy jacket because it is 15 degrees out side.
2: closest beach to me is over 50 miles away.
    3: they are expensive.
4: you cant choose the incline of nature
5:NOT TRUE!! I got to the gym to run on the treadmill all the time you are wearing less close then you would be outside, people are a lot closer, and there are a ton of mirrors every where. If I was worried about my body image I wouldn’t be running in front of a bunch of hot girls.
    7: Agreed

    One thing that …
One thing that would help is if you set the bicycle seat up properly. You are fighting yourself by having the seat so low.

  • SpencahD:

    Dan! If you still …
Dan! If you still have the rear tire for that bike, remove the factory wheel sproket assembly along with the gear changers… weld or bolt your dynamo to the sproket assembly and replace in the bike.. the different gears will make this a viable product..yeah seriously! This makes more sence than the friction braking that has to be cooled with AC!!!
    Good work!

  • robotpredator8:

    so funny,so much …
    so funny,so much muscle “fake”!!

  • sssssbooom:

    @dobberdoss the …
@dobberdoss the weather is bad, or they need lower impact work outs, or they need to do some hill climbs, or they want to know there heart rate, or they would like to have a better pace. or they want to be closer to the other machines they work out on. the list is endless nothing to do with body image.

  • mamoynas:

    goverments should …
goverments should Employ homeless and unemployed people to pedal in power factories for some cents per watt and some food and shelter. One could also harness the heat from all those bodies pedalling.

  • dobberdoss:

    Ive never …
Ive never understood why people runs on treadmill at ALL! particularly when there is a beautiful day outside or down the beach, go run there. It’s because (i feel) they would rather not be seen in public, ashamed of their wieght or body image

Why would’nt a pma like the delco remy make more power?

  • apcnkc:

    Hadn’t thought …
Hadn’t thought about scooter motors! I built a pedal power generator using a magnetic bicycle training stand with a 15speed bike to get the gear ratio and an old 12V trolling motor. I ripped apart the resistance magnets on the stand and bolted the friction shaft straight to the trolling motor. With a blocking diode inline I can provide 5amps at 12-14V with casual peddling, 10amps peak, to charge a battery. There is no discernible increase in resistance. It’s great! Pedal Power is AWESOME!
