Investment of USD 200 Billion in the Clean Energy Sector.

The Airvoice Group, headed by its dynamic Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Kapoor, announced a total investment of INR 9 Lakh Crores (USD 200 Billion) in the clean energy Sector. The Group which had announced the Worlds largest Solar Power Project in Karnataka in early February, in the presence of Honorable MP from Bangalore North, Mr. Chadre Gowda, today announced an even bigger project in the Clean Energy Sector, in the State of Rajasthan.

The proposed project in Rajasthan has a capacity of 40,000 MW of Solar Power and 10,000 MW of Wind Power. The project will generate a total of 40 billion units of power annually. Mr. M.M. Vijayvergia, executive director of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) said that We are looking forward to such a huge investment in our State by your esteemed company. We assure you of our fullest cooperation for making your plant a huge success vide Letter No. 13948 dated 10th March 2010.

The press conference was attended by journalists from some of the most respected media houses and news bureaus.
