Geothermal Energy – A Clean & Renewable Energy Source
Geothermal Energy – A Clean & Renewable Energy Source: This short documentary was shot, edited and produced by myself. Originally I travelled to Nicaragua on behalf of my company, NetTV, where you will also find this video on their YouTube page (youtube.com/nettvinternational) to shoot a corporate documentary for Polaris Geothermal Inc. – a renewable energy company currently focused on the development of geothermal energy projects in Latin America. The final video of theirs, which I also shot, co-produced and edited is available at http://www.nettv.tv/polaris.
While in Nicaragua I learned a lot about geothermal energy and it’s major importance to being the solution to a “greener” world. The impact on the environment is virtually nothing. From Polaris’ projects less than 1% of the fluids from the wells is lost to the environment, the rest returns to the wells.
The alternative to fossil fuels and more efficient than wind energy, Geothermal energy is relatively cheap to produce and one day I hope we all using Geothermal power. This is the new world!
