How Hydroelectric Power Works

Oregon Green Energy, Aaron Walks On Water Fern Ridge Lake

Aaron takes a look at Fern Ridge Dam in Lane County. The dam like most in the period was built with no fish ladder or hydroelectric turbine. For today’s Green Energy standard Fern Ridge Dam Fails. Aaron finds a bird frozen in the ice believed to be an Egret. Fern Ridge Lake rarely freezes over in Oregon near Eugene Oregon.
